The Church is growing rapidly in Africa, but there is not enough mature leadership to help establish healthy, thriving churches and to disciple those coming to faith. MTW is looking for experienced Reformed/Presbyterian church planters who can come alongside African nationals and help identify, equip, and deploy additional national church planters.
In Southern Africa, an important part of your role would be nurturing Presbyterian polity and culture as young or non-existent presbyteries form and develop. In Eastern Africa, the focus will be on mentoring men under care for ordination or those planting new churches. In West Africa, we are looking for leadership to work within the local denomination and expand the "Timothy House" program, a two-year residential program that trains and deploys new pastors.
Could the Lord use your experience to mentor a generation of new pastors? We'd love to talk with you!
