Here's what past MAC group leaders have had to say:
“I think MAC planted a love for missions in our students. It made them aware of the calling on their lives to be Jesus’ witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth and what that means for them.”
“MAC was a great opportunity to get out of our usual in-house and in-town youth group context. It was helpful to be around other youth group students doing things that were out of our norm.”
“MAC fits our needs perfectly. We do a summer camp for our middle school and a mission trip with our high school. MAC is the perfect bridge for these two programs. It allows our middle school to have a fun camp experience that will translate well into their future high school experience.”
“MAC served as an effective tool to help make our kids think more globally.”
“Our girls were challenged to talk to strangers about Christ, thus they had to evaluate their commitment to Christ and their ability to trust Him for the courage to step out of their comfort zone… This experience made them feel like they had a part and purpose in Christ.”
Students will be confronted with a big God who has a heart for the world.

The four days of MAC are packed with good old fashioned action and adventure! The focus will be on missions and advancing the truth of God’s grace worldwide. Campers will grow in their faith as they hear from MTW speakers providing biblical and spiritually nurturing teaching. They will also enjoy field games, friendly cabin competitions, high and low ropes courses, tubing down the French Broad River, climbing on our climbing walls, hiking through the beautiful North Carolina mountains, and sliding down our 100-foot Wet Willie water slide. These and other fun-filled activities all contribute towards personal growth as well as developing relationships and team skills.
All activities are under the close supervision of qualified staff who ensure participants' fun and safety. Trained staff will include misisonary kids from all accross the globe. Through this experience, students will have the opportunity to hear what life is like as a missionary, firsthand.
Working together with your team to traverse a wire bridge with only your friends to rely on … encountering an awesome and loving God in the stillness and beauty of his great creation … selflessly serving men and women whom you have yet to meet … stepping out in faith and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the lost … delighting in God, our Savior…
At MAC, every activity is fun and every challenge is designed to illustrate core principles of God's word and encourage students to put faith into action. Learned principles are put into practice and students walk away truly transformed rather than simply emerging with a head full of more disconnected theories.
We desire to encourage personal dependence on Christ, a delight in the gospel, and a passion for the glory of the Lord to be made known throughout the world. Students will be challenged to look beyond themselves… beyond their own abilities, beyond their own wisdom, and beyond their own limited perspectives. Students will be confronted with a big God who has a heart for the world and will be challenged to participate in the great adventure of following Him.
