Full-Time Assistant to the Accounting Director
Mission to the World is seeking a Full-time Assistant to the Accounting Director. He/she is responsible for the reconciliation of the team workbooks and all the field cash/bank accounts that are submitted monthly reporting all field financial activity to the general ledger. He/she is responsible for accurate journal entries pertaining to the office staff, missionaries, and field/team activities. He/she will help in assuring the accuracy of the accounting information in the system from a fund accounting and non-profit perspective. He/she is responsible for planning and implementation of special projects assigned by the Accounting Director.He/she will have a broad understanding of regulatory issues. Accuracy of all accounting information before it is posted or before cash is disbursed is the primary goal of this position. He/she is to safeguard all assets and financial information within the scope of Mission to the World.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and characteristics:
Minimum 5 years Accounting experience
Knowledge of non-profit tax issues
Experience with audits
Full-Time SharePoint and Business Solutions Developer
The IT Department at Mission to the World is seeking a SharePoint and Business Solutions Developer.
The SharePoint and Business Solutions Developer has programming technical skills and knows how to use the dynamic tools and languages that fuel the Web. He/she is able to work independently. He/she is also part of the MTW IT team and focuses on building and integrating interactive applications and services for both internal and public websites. His/her role is to make it work in the SharePoint environment, which means developing applications, testing them, enhancing and modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for end users. The position also involves ensuring a well built and stable SharePoint environment. He/she must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively.
