MTW staff positions reflect the need for strong skills much like any other organization, from accounting to project management to administrative skills. PCA or other Reformed affiliation is highly desirable, but not required in most positions. Missions experience is a very strong plus.

Human Resources Administrative Assistant

The Human Resources Department at Mission to the World is seeking an Administrative Assistant.

This position will answer directly to the Director of Human Resources. Job duties of the Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to, assisting in the recruiting and hiring of home office staff, drafting various types of written communications, delivering group presentations, helping to resolve interoffice conflicts, working closely with building maintenance vendors, preparing invoices for processing, and entering and maintaining database information.

This is a highly administrative position and ideal candidates will possess strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Candidates will also be trustworthy, flexible, able to prioritize and handle a wide variety of tasks at one time, and proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience is preferred as well as an understanding of and familiarity with the PCA background and beliefs.


Full-Time Partner Relations Officer

The MTW Partner Relations Department is searching for a full-time Partner Relations Officer.

The Partner Relations Officer will be responsible for developing and working with large donors. He or she will be responsible for achieving and retaining the endowment level goal set by the director. He or she will also identify those who could benefit from our estate and gift design services.

The ideal candidate will have a vision for possibilities, a heart for missions, the gospel, and our missionaries. They must also be able to communicate clearly and with passion, interact one-on-one and one-to-many. They must have a heart for people and a desire for them to develop a giving lifestyle. They should understand and support MTW and the PCA’s core values and should be a self-starter and spiritually mature. The ideal candidate must also be able to handle financial issues and be familiar with financial and tax principles and wealth management.

Ideal criteria for the candidate are, but are not limited to: knowledge of stewardship principles and general Bible knowledge. PCA officer training is a plus, as is experience with PC tools: contact software, PowerPoint, email, word processing. A college degree in finance or related experience is required.

Full-Time Accounting Assistant

The MTW Finance Department is searching for a full-time Accounting Assistant. The general duties of the Accounting Assistant are to provide support to the Accounting Department in a variety of functions. The main responsibilities are for timely review of approved payables incurred by Mission to the World, the issuing of checks twice a week, preparing or posting of journal entries as needed, assisting with various reconciliations, providing backup for keying, etc. The Accounting Assistant will provide occasional backup to the Accounts Payable Specialist and give support to others in the department on an as-needed basis. In addition, the Accounting Assistant will provide clerical support. He/she is responsible to safeguard all assets and financial information within the scope of Mission to the World. 

This position requires a minimum of two years of education in accounting or commensurate experience. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, with speed and accuracy, organized, have data entry experience, and be a team player who is sensitive to the needs of others. The candidate should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
