Spiritual Life

The Spiritual Life Department is responsible for the ongoing investment of resources for the long-term nurture, care, and development of missionaries. Our goal is resilient, strong, and effective missionaries who are grounded in God’s grace so that they become joyful agents of God’s grace to the world.

The following are some of the ministries we provide to support and equip our missionaries for their work:

  • Living in Grace Conference - teaches the foundation of grace that undergirds life and ministry. Also available for churches—see information below.
  • Pastoral Associate Couples - provide pastoral care for missionaries while on the field.
  • MTW Psychologists - offer crisis intervention, counseling, and referral.
  • Area Retreats - a time for missionaries to refresh their spirits and energize their vision with excellent preaching, helpful seminars, and good fellowship.
  • Re-entry Conference - helps the missionary to process what God has done over the previous term and to adjust to life in the United States.
  • Summer Conference - provides a break from the strenuous schedule of Home Ministry Assignment for Scripture study, rest, and fellowship with family and other missionaries.

Living in Grace DVD 

The Living in Grace series includes eleven 35-minute messages, small group discussion questions and supplemental reading for each topic. The DVD series is designed for Sunday morning church classes or for home fellowship meetings. There is over three months worth of material included in this package.

When you purchase the DVD series, you are given access to the on-line leader's guide which will tell you the best way to use the material as well as permission to copy the small group discussion questions and supplemental reading that you will need.

Living in Grace is a grace-based, Christ-centered series grounded in the Scriptures.

The purpose of Living in Grace is to demonstrate that all of the Christian life is lived in the grace of God in Christ.

The goal of Living in Grace is to provide discipleship training which leads to being more fully equipped for life and ministry.
