Jensen, Ben & Julie

Serving in Japan | Acct # 13702

PERSONAL NOTE

Ben and Julie developed a love for East Asia while on multiple mission trips to South Korea during college. After graduating, they served at Sooyoungro Presbyterian Church in Busan and lived with Korean host families. Back in the U.S., Ben worked as a youth director at New Hope PCA in Kansas while earning his M.Div., and Julie taught kindergarten at a Christian school.

As the Jensens contemplated returning to Asia, their hearts were drawn to the Japanese, the world’s second largest unreached people group with less than half of 1% being evangelical Christian. Ben and Julie joined MTW’s church-planting team in Nagoya, Japan’s third largest metro area, where their family serves as long-term missionaries.

Ben and Julie are leading the university student ministry at Nisshin Christ Church where they seek to evangelize and disciple young people. Japanese are the most open to the gospel during college so reaching them at this life stage is strategic. The Jensens have a passion for befriending students, introducing them to the church, and inviting them into their home for Bible studies.

Please pray for the Jensen family as they reach out to university students in Japan with the hope of the gospel.
