Lima, Peru
Depending on ministry needs, summer interns may be involved in college ministry, help with the local church youth ministry, coordinate and assist summer teams, or work with the House of Glory home for abused and abandoned teen mothers and their children. Intern must be at least 20 years of age. Conversational Spanish is required for this internship. |

Scripture Union - Lima, Peru
Interns with Scripture Union Peru travel and assist our work teams from the US and UK that come to Peru to volunteer for 1-3 weeks. They assist at our homes for abandoned boys, supporting the site coordinator and the volunteers. Interns help with our ministry for abandoned boys, construction/work projects, Spanish-English translation, short term team coordinating, and Vacation Bible school activities. Interns travel to our different sites, accompanying the work teams wherever they go. A solid grasp of the Spanish language is required. Summer interns will build relationships with nationals and assist in the ministries of Scripture Union. All interns will work side by side and be mentored by experienced missionaries. |
