Ministry began in 2000. Since then we have seen strong development in the ministry with significant advances in Dunfermline, Nairn, Dornoch, Dundee and Glasgow. Over the next phase of ministry we will concentrate on specific church-planting partnerships with the Free Church of Scotland (and any other interested churches/denominations) seeking to support a church-planting movement using innovative church-planting models in urban contexts. MTW Scotland is also supporting the work of Solas – Centre for Public Christianity in Dundee. A major part of the work of Solas will be to provide training and support for Christians in learning how to proclaim the gospel in all spheres of contemporary culture. |

Scotland (Edinburgh)
Spend the summer serving in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh, where you will experience Scottish culture, have an opportunity to serve in a frontline street ministry to the homeless, organize youth outreach programs, connect with students from the University of Edinburgh, participate in youth camps with the Free Church of Scotland, and visit rural areas to engage in growing the church in the countryside. Dates: May 29 - August 2 |

Scotland (Glasgow)
Join us in Scotland this summer as we serve with the Free Church to advance the Kingdom in Glasgow. Students will have the opportunity to serve alongside the Free Church of Scotland by investing in the city of Glasgow as well as Cambuslang, a community just east of Glasgow. Cambuslang is the site where George Whitfield preached one of his great revival messages. Ministry will include – vacation bible school/kids club in a multiethnic setting, soccer sports camps, and many other areas of outreach to raise awareness of God’s Kingdom. Get to know the people of Scotland by investing in mercy and community outreach. Also participate in a ministry to International students. A great opportunity to be a part of growing God’s Kingdom in a unique environment. |

Scotland (Lochalsh)
Join this Thrive team as they serve the congregation of Plockton and the Kyle Free Church a Presbyterian congregation with deep roots in the community. This ministry is near a rural part of North-West Scotland (Lochalsh), but through partnerships in the neighboring isle's, interns will be a part of reaching several communities in the area. Ministry will include helping the congregation in its outreach to the community, visiting homes and building relationships. This site will afford the team opportunities for children, youth and adult ministry and fellowship, including during Sunday services, while visiting local schools, and a Holiday Bible Club.
