Help Reignite the Birthplace of the Reformation with the Gospel

The Czech Republic, once the birthplace of the Reformation under Jan Hus, is now the most atheist nation in the world. With only 0.76% of the population identifying as Bible-believing Christians, the need for gospel-centered ministry in Prague, “The Heart of Europe,” is urgent.

Dawson and Shanna Bean have been called to lead Faith Community Church IPC in Prague after completing a pastoral residency at an IPC church in London. Faith Community serves a diverse group of international expats, university students, immigrants, Czech nationals, and other Europeans. The church has already planted a daughter church across the river, and currently hosts church plants from the Arab world and Ukraine, as well as a city-wide youth ministry, “Youth Praha.”

While Dawson shepherds the church’s outreach and discipleship, Shanna supports the church through her critical role in discipling women and fostering community, while also caring for their family. Together, they are dedicated to spreading the gospel in Prague and seeing more churches planted and strengthened throughout Europe.
