Emily grew up hearing stories of missionaries whose lives of faith, sacrifice, and love for others deeply inspired her. As a young person, she had opportunities to serve in Mexico and the Dominican Republic and later traveled to Indonesia. These experiences awakened in her a growing sense that God was calling her to cross-cultural ministry.

Emily spent four years serving with The Navigators at Arizona State University before attending Covenant Theological Seminary, where she earned a Master of Arts in counseling. In 2015, she began serving among the Navajo people, integrating discipleship and counseling as she walked alongside individuals and families.

After moving to Flagstaff in 2021, Emily focused particularly on investing in Indigenous college students, while continuing to explore the ways God has uniquely equipped her to serve.

Emily is passionate about counseling, trauma healing, art, Native peoples, college students, discipleship, and cross-cultural ministry. She is currently in an exploratory season, prayerfully discerning how to bring these gifts and experiences together in service of God’s kingdom. She hopes to create spaces where people can experience the healing, freedom, and hope found in Christ—and discover how their own stories and gifts can be used for His purposes.
