Jacobson, Katie
Serving in Cambodia | Acct # 400516
Katie took her first overseas mission trip to the Philippines in 2004, which led to annual trips and eventually the Lord leading her there long term in 2007. While in the Philippines, Katie served as an English teacher in a remote tribal village. During that time, she became burdened with the lack of medical care in third world countries. Her desire to provide gospel-centered holistic medical care and basic medical knowledge in Southeast Asia led her to pursue a nursing degree in 2009. After graduating, Katie waited patiently for God to reveal a new long term mission field.
In 2022, Katie answered God’s call and moved to Cambodia to serve and share the hope and love of Christ through mercy ministries as well as helping to facilitate young adult discipleship. Katie is grateful for the MTW team and local Khmer church she has been blessed to serve alongside. Pray for Katie as she serves through mercy ministries to care for patients, educate Cambodian nurses, disciple college age women, and as she continues to build relationships with Cambodians in order to share the gospel. Please pray that Christ would be glorified in her life and in Cambodia.
