Polk, Jason & Liz

Serving in Ethiopia | Acct # 16180

PERSONAL NOTE

Jason and Liz Polk serve in collaborative ministry with Mission to the World, SIM, and Ethiopia ACT. Their team of Ethiopians and expatriates is committed to bringing gospel reconciliation in all areas of life to communities and families living in urban poverty. The team currently serves over 400 families affected by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malnutrition, and other chronic health problems in some of the poorest neighborhoods of Addis Ababa.

Jason serves as the church planting and spiritual ministries coordinator for Ethiopia ACT, and facilitates a church-planting team of Ethiopian elders working to establish Yemesihu Tsega (Grace of the Messiah) Church as a Reformed, Presbyterian, and covenantal denomination in the city. The team’s first church plant has been meeting for worship in the Suki community since late 2013, and they are working to begin church plants in two other communities of the city in the next few years.

Liz is a licensed clinical social worker and has worked with youth and women's  discipleship and support groups. Jason also serves as country director for MTW Ethiopia.

Please pray for the Polks as they serve the people of Addis Ababa.
