Matsinger, Jay & Nancy

Jay and Nancy Matsinger, after 35 years with MTW and Greater Europe Mission, are now retired but serve as associate missionaries. Over the years they served in several locations in France and then in Prague in the Czech Republic, two of the least religious and most atheistic countries in Europe. When the pandemic hit, and they had to learn how to run meetings online in order to continue ministry. They leveraged this tool to reconnect with former contacts in France and multiply meetings.

They returned to the U.S. in April 2021, and have continued meeting online with individuals and groups in Europe. They helps participants improve their English while using the Bible and The Chronicles of Narnia for reading to expose unbelievers to the Christian worldview and the gospel. They meet with some for discovery Bible studies, prayer meetings, and discipleship.

They plan to return to Europe annually for in-person visits with contacts, hoping to make the next trip in the spring of 2022. Meanwhile in the U.S. they plan to travel and report to those who have supported their ministry over the years. Jay and Nancy would appreciate your prayers and encouragement.
