Marcus and Heather Rudd serve with MTW and Isaiah 55 Ministries in Reynosa, Mexico, on the Mexico/Texas border. Isaiah 55 was established to bring Christian education to the Deaf community in Reynosa, and in 2006 opened what was, at the time, the only Deaf school in that city. Over time, the ministry has expanded to include other ministry outreach programs including vocational training to both the hearing and the Deaf, as well as opening a community outreach center in the neighborhood of Aquiles, where the ministry is located.
Marcus and Heather joined the Isaiah 55 team of missionaries in 2016 and have been involved in various aspects of ministry. Marcus and Heather run the ministry's summer internship program. Marcus manages volunteer work teams and construction projects, facility maintenance, and assists in the vocational training program. Most recently, he has begun building an arts program within the ministry alongside their teammates. Heather's current focus is on raising and homeschooling their two kids, but she also continues to minister every other week in Club de Chicas, a part of their community outreach, in weekly prayer with their team, and as a part of member care.
