Willis, Justin and Savannah

Justin and Savannah met while living in Bogotá, Colombia, where Justin was teaching English and Savannah was doing youth ministry at an international church. They married in 2021, and recently moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to pursue further training for ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary. 

While in St. Louis, the Willises will be working with Next, a ministry of Mission to the World that seeks to reach the nations and the next generation by serving locally, equipping leaders, and ministering to mission families. Having lived and worked abroad in a ministry setting, Justin and Savannah have experienced both the joys and challenges that come with doing ministry cross-culturally. Through this experience, they have developed a heart for missionary families to be supported and sustained as they serve the Lord throughout the world, and especially for missionary kids to be cared for as they grow up as third culture kids (those spending their developmental years primarily outside of their parents’ home country). Alongside the rest of the Next team serving in Latin America, Europe, and Asia, the Willises will get to be a part of helping young people know that they are known and loved by the Lord.
