The Bahamas attracts tourists from far and wide who enjoy their time fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or relaxing at one of the many resorts. What those visitors rarely see is the other side of the Bahamas—a side that is desperately poor and spiritually broken.
In this context missionaries Julian and Christiana Russell serve, pastoring Covenant Life Church in the Yellow Elder community of Nassau. The church is making remarkable strides in the gospel work of the kingdom and has a passion to reach out to the poor and needy, ministering to children and adults alike, in order to show them the love of Christ and to serve in this community.
Ministry Description: Trip participants will assist the Covenant Life's day camp for school-aged children. They will attend a worship service and receive mutual encouragement in Christ from the church's congregation and elders. Come see how the gospel of Christ impacts the globe by seeing His work in the Bahamas.
