Join us for a mentored summer internship in Kigali, Rwanda!
Often called the Switzerland of Africa, Kigali is beautiful, modern, and clean. It is also considered the safest city in Africa and is leading the way into a new economic future for the continent. This is the place to experience Africa entering the third millennium, where it is expected to become the new center of Christendom. Yet while Rwanda's future shines brightly, the Church faces significant challenges that make ministry here both crucial and complex. During this internship, you will have a unique opportunity to learn from local churches about the trials, opportunities, and lessons involved in ministry in Rwanda.
Each week will focus on a different ministry area related to the work of the church. You will learn from, and be mentored by, experienced missionaries in strategic ministries. Topics will range from basic cross-cultural relationships, evangelism and discipleship, acts of service, and church planting. You will also put what you've learned into practice, engaging in practical ministry in the community.
Come explore your gifts and calling and test them to discern God’s leading. Experience a rich mix of teaching times and hands on ministry, collaborating with several organizations. Experience life with our close-knit, diverse team that loves spending time with interns, talking through life's challenges, and guiding interns through their perceived callings. Our hope is that you will develop lifelong relationships with this global family and that this will be used by God to clearly guide your investment in the kingdom.
Dates: July 1-31
