The Well: Reach out broadly, dive deeply

Join us for The Well, a mentored summer internship in Sofia, Bulgaria, and a 2023 RUF partnership site.

Come to the vibrant capital city of Sofia and be individually mentored by a veteran missionary. You will be stretched and grown by the Spirit, Word, and community. In turn, you will develop relationships with Bulgarians for the purpose of showing the love of God and growing the local church. The team will support and encourage you every step of the way.

In the mornings, you’ll unpack an individual devotional curriculum, sit under missionaries teaching relevant topics, study the Bulgarian language, listen to our friends and national partners discuss Bulgarian culture and history, and try Bulgarian foods, among other daily highlights.

In the afternoons you’ll spend time with Bulgarians you meet through English Club ministry. English Clubs are a weekly gathering where Bulgarians practice English and discuss hot topics in the world today. You’ll learn how to lead an ESL class, start friendships, and encourage conversations toward the gospel. The summer culminates in an English Camp, a concentrated time to connect and share the gospel with your new friends. Depending on your gifting and training, there are other ministry opportunities you could pursue as well: sports ministry, surveying new ministry sites, and more.

There will be trips outside of Sofia, including one to a neighboring country, to broaden your perspective of missions.
