ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA

Living with HIV
In Ethiopia, a mother and her six children live in a room the size of a double bed. She lives with HIV after having contracted the virus from her husband. And she is one of thousands of women with a similar story of struggle with poverty and stigma. Women who desperately need God to show up. Families who desperately need hope.

Administering Hope
With help from our team and the AIDS Care and Treatment (ACT) Project, this mother, and many others like her, are receiving treatment, encouragement, and support. Our goal through the ACT Project is to care for the profound physical, spiritual, and social needs of the HIV-positive urban poor. The ministry serves as a platform for reaching the city and helps us lay groundwork for a church-planting movement. Nearly 500 families receive food, shelter, medical care, and counseling, as well as Bible study and discipleship. Join us as we administer the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ to Ethiopian families in desperate need.
