Rising from the banks of the Main River in central Germany, the metropolitan city of Frankfurt is a center of education and commerce, and a financial hub for the European continent. It is also the most culturally and ethnically diverse city in Germany, with some estimating that nearly a third of the city’s residents are foreign nationals. Germany’s growing population of refugees, fleeing conflict across the globe in search of peace and a better life, has only added to the city’s multicultural tapestry.

At this crossroads of East and West, of economic power and financial need, of secularism and a medley of religions, people are increasingly open to the gospel. Here, MTW missionaries are working with a team of international partners to plant a multicultural church in the heart of Frankfurt. Living alongside established immigrants, recent refugees, and generational Germans, they share the love of Christ through hospitality, church outreach, evangelism, and discipleship.

Forming Community, Finding Christ

At a recent gathering of international friends, several people commented that they had no community of friends like this.

Refugees Are Searching, and Finding Hope in the Gospel

A young Moroccan man chased after Nick, an American missionary in Frankfurt: "Hey, will you please teach me the Bible?"

Pray for a group of international friends in Germany who are meeting together and building community in a missionary's home. Pray they would come to know Christ through this community.
