Munich, Germany
The Bavarians of southern Germany refer to their region as “paradise,” and the wealthy, influential city of Munich is its capital. Home to major global companies like BMW, Samsung, and a host of engineering and biotech firms, Munich draws people from around the world to study, work, and play. It is rich with culture, boasting museums, theaters, universities, and a high standard of living. But with fewer than 1% of people attending a gospel-preaching church, Munich is lacking in the riches of the gospel of grace.
MTW Munich has partnered with Free Evangelical Church Central Munich to plant healthy, gospel-proclaiming churches around the city. They have helped plant three additional churches and helped revitalize an international congregation that serves over 60 nationalities. Our team also assists with theological education at Martin Bucer Seminary and leads mercy ministry efforts among trafficked women. Their vision is to establish Munich as a hub for training and sending national leaders and missionaries to reach German-speakers throughout Europe with the gospel.
