Krieger, Karis

Karis was born in Georgia, but has lived most of her life in North Texas. She graduated from Dallas Christian College in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and Bible. Karis accepted Christ during high school, and God instilled a passion in her for missions; to tell others about the new life available to them, that she had experienced in Christ.

She first went to Japan on a vision trip with her church in 2014. While there and upon return, God placed a burden on her heart for Japan as the second largest unreached people group of developed countries. In 2017, she returned to Japan to serve with Christ Bible Institute in Nagoya as a summer intern, and in 2019, she returned to CBI for three years serving in evangelistic outreach and worship ministry.

CBI's vision and mission are the gospel of the glory of Christ cherished and proclaimed throughout Japan, and to equip Christians in Japan for the work of gospel ministry. To this purpose, Karis serves at CBI using her gifts for evangelism to help missionary interns, short-term teams, and Christ Bible Seminary students engage in evangelism to the community, and partners with a local Japanese church in worship ministry.
