Nam, David & Susanna
Serving in Taiwan | Acct # 400271
David and Susanna are called to serve in Taiwan, where only 5% of people are Christian and the majority are Buddhist or Taoist.
The Nams’ vision is to help the church in Taiwan grow, using the gifts God has given them. David is an ordained minister with a PhD in New Testament, and his ministry focus is theological education. He teaches Bible at Christ’s College, a Christian liberal arts college, and as his Mandarin proficiency develops, he will pursue additional opportunities to train pastors in Taiwan and throughout Asia. Susanna uses her background as a speech-language pathologist in the areas of special education and disability ministry to advance the gospel.
Christ’s College fills a major need by providing young believers with a Christian community and an education rooted in a biblical worldview. It also provides Christian education to a growing number of international students, including many from China, and it even attracts non-Christian students who value the bilingual education offered at Christ’s College and its reputation for having a caring and nurturing community.
