Nam, David & Susanna

David and Susanna are called to serve in Taiwan at Christ's College.

The Nams’ vision is to assist the church in Taiwan as it grows, using the gifts and talents God has given them. For David, as an ordained minister and a Ph.D. candidate in New Testament at Fuller Seminary, that is in the field of theological education. At Christ’s College, he will teach and disciple college students. As his Mandarin proficiency develops, he will pursue additional opportunities to train pastors who will raise up churches in Taiwan and throughout Asia. Susanna looks forward to advancing the gospel using her background as a speech-language pathologist in the areas of special education and disability ministry.

Taiwan is a developed economy and a liberal democracy, but the majority of the population is Buddhist or Taoist and less than 5% of Taiwanese people are Christian. Christ’s College fills a major need by providing young believers with a Christian community and a strong education rooted in a biblical worldview, so that when they graduate they are equipped to be leaders in the church and witnesses for Christ in the world.
