Rabe, Rachel
Serving in Japan | Acct # 16716
Rachel has always had a passion for international missions. She served through a year-long internship in Japan before completing her master’s degree in education and returning to the field as first a short-term and eventually a long-term missionary.
God has placed a deep love for Japan on Rachel’s heart. There she has been repeatedly struck by how lost the country is, with fewer than 1% of the population professing faith in Christ. But she is also encouraged to see how very full of hope Japan is, with a vibrant community of believers. Rachel is both ecstatic and humbled to be part of raising up the next generation of Christians in Japan, who will then go forth and impact their country for the Lord.
Rachel serves at Covenant Community School International in Chiba, Japan, which is a school offering education to the children of missionaries, Japanese Christian families, and other internationals. At CCSI, she serves as an administrator and teacher. Rachel is so thankful for the unique opportunity she has to mentor and disciple her students in their faith. She is excited to be a part of what the Lord is doing in one of the world’s most under-reached countries.
