Sheppard, Andrew

Andrew spent the first 11 years of his life as a missionary kid in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he learned firsthand the need for missions. After moving to the United States, Andrew sensed a call to return to the mission field of Eastern Europe. To this end, he pursued majors in Russian culture and language and modern European history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

As a rising junior in 2019, Andrew had the opportunity to join the Greenhouse internship in Lviv, Ukraine, where he spent two months ministering to university students. During this time, the Lord confirmed Andrew’s call to missions and moved his heart for the people of Ukraine.

Andrew is returning to Lviv where he will continue evangelizing and discipling university students. His desire is to see these future leaders come to know Jesus Christ and bring godly Christian leadership back to their communities.
