Madrid New Church Plant
Europe - Western | Project # 95645
Spain is the least evangelized Spanish-speaking country in the world. Though those who serve the poor are respected, the Church itself is despised, its reputation marred by a brutal history of repression as a tool of the state. Only about 1 percent of people living in Spain are evangelical, and because most Spaniards don’t know what evangelicalism is, many label it a cult. The need to share the true gospel of God’s love and grace is urgent.
Since its beginning in 1991, the MTW Madrid team has been integrally involved in planting six churches, and is currently planting a church in downtown Madrid called Libreaccesso – “free access.” This project supports the rental of Libreacceso’s new facility in this strategic location.
Church planting, relational ministry, discipleship, and one-on-one evangelism are at this team’s core. Please give to support their efforts to bring the true gospel of hope and redemption to the Spanish people.
