Jensen, Ben & Julie

Serving in Japan | Acct # 13702

Kansas natives Ben and Julie Jensen first developed a love for Asia in college while serving on multiple month-long mission trips to South Korea. They returned to Korea following graduation (Ben earned a B.A. with a double major in religion and philosophy and Christian education while Julie earned a B.S. in elementary education) to serve on staff at Sooyoungro Presbyterian Church for a year and to live with Korean host families. Following their return to the U.S., Ben and Julie began to develop a heart for unreached people groups while Ben was serving as a youth director at New Hope Presbyterian Church and completing his M.Div. back in Kansas.

The Jensens will be serving on an established church-planting team in Japan’s third largest city, Nagoya, and are excited that their ministry here unites their love for East Asia with their desire to see Jesus Christ worshiped among the unreached. Japan has the largest unreached people group in the world where less than 0.5 percent are evangelical Christians and 95 percent have never heard the gospel. Please pray for Ben, Julie, and Søren as they share the good news with the Japanese.
