Toulouse is beautiful, cosmopolitan, and ethnically diverse, with around a million people, including 120,000 university students. The spiritual needs here are great. Like the rest of France, less than 2 percent of the people are believers. Most people have never opened a Bible.
Want to find out what it’s like to be a missionary in France? Spend your summer serving with our Toulouse church-planting team, working with a church plant located in the city's western suburbs. Interns will have opportunities to interact with a French pastor and experience the life of an established French church. You will help prepare and participate in local outreach events. shadow the missionary team in their church planting work, participate in English classes, and work to deepen your knowledge of the French language and culture. More importantly, the experiences here will help you develop a compassion for the lost in this secular, post-Christian city.
If you are conversant in French (normally two years of college-level French or the equivalent) and interested in exploring your call to missions, consider this opportunity to be part of what the Spirit is doing here!
Dates: mid-June through end of July
